The Long Puck was organised in aid of charity again this by Blackrock GAA. Here some of the 15 teams gather at the start Murrins cross near Kilfinane
Some of the supporters that followed the teams out from Kilfinane to Ardpatrick
George Douglas (on the left) Blackrock's new chairman waits on the bridge in Ardpatrick for the teams to come in

Mike Mackessy adds up the scores at the end. The winners did it in 40 pucks!
...and there was a tie for first place. Ruari O'Shaughnessy, Sean Palmer (not actually on the team, Liam Welsh was), Paudie Leaghy and Brian O'Shaughnessy were on one team and pictured with Chairman George, Eddie O'Sullivan, Dave Heally, Seoirse Bulfin and Donie O'Sullivan were on the other. Adrian O'Sullivan is also pictured proud that his father can still puck a ball as good as the best of them.
