Battle of the Parish...

walkers ..... bringing the parish together
that is goal of the festival and never more
so this year....

Everyone
seemed
to be
enjoying
the
"walkers"
but some
how
when
they
were all
offered a
go at the
end there
was no
takers!!!
Okay, this proved harder than it looks, in the end we had to move the targets
closer or it wouldn't be finished yet. Below David who was master of
ceremonies tried to keep order...
The games seemed to go down well this year.... Or else they were just too out of breath to complain.
Before and after the battle the hall was open with its collection  
Memorabilia  and pictures.
So whats so funny that has these all laughing.... They are watching a
video of the original festival and it's pageant.... The one where the horse
collapsed.........
