To mark Sr Eilie Meskill's visit home (and to thank her for some nice comments about the web site)
most of the pictures this month come from Mount Russell. Above some of the paths through the forest
A couple of views from the hill towards the Mount Russell valley. Above on the left looking toward Charleville and on the right looking towards Ardpatrick. These pictures don't do justice to a warm Autumn day up in Mount Russell.

Above left, the road towards Ardpatrick
village and above a carpet of moss in the
forest.
On the left not quite sure what I was
thinking taking this picture. It is just of a
poll of water up on the valley in Mount
Russell. It is just that the water was so
pure and clean that it caught my eye.
Again the picture doesn't do the screen
in the Autumn sunshine justice!
Near Glenosheen this time. A horse keeps an eye on me!

A view of Seefin with Glenosheen in the front left. From here Seefin looks like an old volcano!
